Dew point is the temperature to which chill air becomes soaked with water vapor. Water will concentrate on the surface when the air cools to its dew point via touch with a surface that is meaner than the air. When the temperature is below the freezing point of water, the dew point is called the frost point, as frost is formed rather than dew.
